The Messi signature drops keep coming, with adidas giving the Argentinian with the X Crazyfast ‘Bienvenido A Miami’, which is inspired by his new MLS club and the city he now calls home.
Following his hype move to the United States, Adidas has been quick to release plenty of signature style for Lionel Messi, with the Argentina-inspired ‘Infinito Messi’ dropping in August, followed by the ‘Las Estrellas’ in September, which featured a special design commemorating his 2022 World Cup victory with Argentina. Now there’s the ‘Bienvenido A Miami’ X Crazyfast, which focuses on Messi’s new hometown.
The boot is available in the “Turquoise/Pink” colorway, which is clearly inspired by the city’s iconic Miami Vice look. The turquoise colour serves as the foundation for this execution, with brilliant neon pink details popping through the logo and forefoot of the soleplate, as well as the “Messi” phrase on the lateral side of the heel, printed in a distinctive Vice City font that fits the overall presentation.
Unfortunately, their debut against Cincinnati did not assist to halt Inter Miami’s losing streak of four games, which coincided with Messi’s absence due to injury, and was extended to five with a 0-1 loss. Messi returned to the field in the 56th minute, wearing the ‘Bienvenido A Miami’ X Crazyfast.
